IRIS stands for Inferential Robustness Improvement System. An elegant framework evaluates AI interactions and decision-making, using occupational scenarios to test for real-world results.
I'm currently using IRIS to unblock issues in AI's ability to understand both human and other AI needs. IRIS measured if an agent's improved inference about another agent's behaviour actually produces better coordination outcomes. Findings support calls for new ways to help AI work productively.
IRIS is also part of my specialist psychology MSc. research project at the University of Exeter, which evaluates potential machine learning applications for cutting-edge psychology studies.
